Shipping Policy

We know how exciting it is to receive a new book—especially when it’s for a young reader! Here’s how we make sure your order arrives safely and on time.

Delivery Options

We offer:

  • Standard UK Delivery: 3–5 working days

  • Express UK Delivery: 1–2 working days

  • International Delivery: Available to selected countries

Shipping costs are shown at checkout. If you’re ordering for a birthday or special occasion, we recommend choosing Express Delivery.

Dispatch Times
  • Orders are usually sent out within 1–2 working days

  • You’ll get an email when your order is on its way

  • If your order includes a personalised or pre-order book, we’ll ship everything together once ready

Packaging

We use sturdy, eco-friendly packaging to protect your books—and we avoid excessive plastic. If your order is a gift, you can add a note at checkout.

Missing or Delayed Deliveries

If your parcel hasn’t arrived:

  • Check with neighbours or your local delivery office

  • Contact us and we’ll help right away

Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, if your order doesn’t arrive within 30 days, you’re entitled to a refund unless you’ve agreed to a longer timeframe.

Damaged or Lost Books

If your book arrives damaged or doesn’t arrive at all:

  • Let us know within 14 days

  • We’ll send a replacement or offer a refund

  • We’ll cover the return postage for damaged items

International Orders

For overseas customers, customs duties or import taxes may apply. These are not included in our shipping fees and vary by country.

We hope your little reader loves their new book! But if something’s not quite right, here’s what to do.

Changed Your Mind?

You can return your book within 14 days of receiving it, as long as it’s in good condition. This follows the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.

  • Let us know within 14 days of delivery.

  • Return it within another 14 days.

  • We’ll refund you within 14 days of receiving the book.

  • You’ll need to cover return postage unless the book is faulty.

Please note: We can’t accept returns for:

  • Personalised books (e.g. with your child’s name)

  • Books damaged after delivery

  • Digital downloads once accessed

Found a Fault?

If your book arrives damaged, misprinted, or isn’t what you ordered, we’ll fix it. You’re covered by the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

  • Contact us within 30 days.

  • We’ll offer a refund, replacement, or repair.

  • We’ll cover return postage.
